Debbie is a highly qualified reflexologist who has trained at the London School of reflexology with Louise Keet, who has been described as “Britains’ leading reflexology practitioner”. Debbie has also trained at The Rooms Training Academy based in Stotfold
Reflexology is based on a technique using gentle pressure on the reflex areas of the foot, hand or face. To bring about a state of deep relaxation and stimulate the body’s own healing ability for balance and wellbeing.
Foot reflexology is by far the most popular form of reflexology practised in the UK, however when it is combined with Reiki, which is tailored by Your Inner Peace, it intensifies the whole experience.
Your reflexology treatment will begin by undertaking a detailed health, diet and lifestyle consultation. Following this you will comfortably seated on a couch within my tranquil therapy room. I will examine the feet, hands or face and may ask further questions. The treatment will then begin with gentle relaxation techniques, followed by reflexology and ending with gently relaxation techniques.
In general both feet will always be worked on as part of the full treatment. The left foot represents the left side of the body and the right foot represents the right side of the body. Please click on the above images for further information.
Reflexology is not ticklish as a firm pressure is used. During the reflexology if a specific part of the body is out of balance, the corresponding reflex may feel tender or slightly uncomfortable during the treatment, if this is so it is important to let a practitioner know so that steps may be taken to resolve the discomfort. Generally any discomfort felt by a client is usually described as bearable and beneficial.
A full reflexology treatment will generally last 50 minutes – Price £35.00 Within your treatment I blend my own unique therapeutic essential oils and Neal’s Yard natural lotion to tailor your experience for your own wants and needs. Full Reflexology (with essential oils) and Reiki – £40.00
I just thought I would add this delightful poem sent to me from one of my clients, who has a combination Reflexology and Reiki treatment each week:
